Our Recruitment Process

Start by submitting your CV and relevant documents to MiSha. You can do this via WhatsApp, our website application form, email, or in person at our Nairobi office. Make sure to include your full name, contact details, the role you are interested in, and your experience level.

Our team reviews every application carefully. We assess your qualifications, experience, physical fitness (where applicable) and genuine suitability for the available vacancies. Only candidates who meet the requirements proceed to the next stage.

⏱ Typical response: within 3–5 business days of receiving your application

Shortlisted candidates are contacted for an initial assessment — this may be a phone call, video call or in-person visit to our office. We discuss your background, confirm your details, and ensure you understand the role, destination, salary, and contract terms clearly before proceeding.

Candidates who pass our internal assessment are presented to the employer. The employer interview may be conducted in person (if the employer visits Kenya), by video call, or by reviewing candidate profiles and making selections based on documents. MiSha coordinates all aspects of this stage.

Candidates selected by the employer receive a formal offer letter detailing the role, salary, benefits, contract duration and conditions of employment. MiSha helps you understand all terms before you sign. Take time to read and confirm you agree with everything stated.

We guide you through every document you need before departure. This typically includes: valid passport, medical examination and fitness certificate, police clearance certificate, national ID, and any role-specific certificates. MiSha coordinates what needs to be done and in what order.

Once documentation is complete, the employer processes your work visa. MiSha liaises with the employer on your behalf during this stage and keeps you updated. Visa processing times vary by destination country and employer, but MiSha tracks progress and communicates clearly throughout.

Before you travel, MiSha provides pre-departure guidance covering: your rights as a worker, employer expectations, life in your destination country, emergency contacts, and what to do if you face any challenges after arrival. We remain available as a contact point throughout your contract.
